Youth Leadership Development and Employability Program:  As you are aware from forwarded news articles, etc.  we had another successful incoming cohort. We are all set for the Saturday service on the mobile learning center.  Thanks to all that responded with suggestions for service locations.  Our final locations are the One Stops in Denton, Easton, and Chestertown and the Grasonville Community Center, Federalsburg Town Lot, Hurlock Community Center, and the Harriet Tubman Organization. 

Youth Specialist Position:  We have again extended the temporary contract.  The McKenzie Group:  Our resource mapping project is complete and available online.  I have sent under cover all the information for accessing.  Please encourage all service providers to participate.  As you are aware from phone conversations over the summer, we did not get the end result expected from this project.  Since we were going to use this as a springboard for readjusting the role of the Council, we should perhaps discuss the results.  As per the request of the membership, I will be scheduling a conference call in October to discuss the future of the Council.  Please indicate if you would like to participate.
