Meeting
called to order at 5:05 p.m.

Motion to accept minutes from April 29, 2003 meeting as
written was made by Keith LeCates, seconded by Hoyt Heimuller and carried by
all.
Budget
2003-2004:
Dan gave an
overview of the monies allocated and budgeted for all grants in fiscal year
7/01/03 through 6/30/04. This included anticipated Administrative expenses.
Motion to approve budgets was made by Keith LeCates,
seconded by Dave McIntyre and carried by all.
WIA
Reauthorization:
The House of
Representatives passed a reauthorization version of the Law on May 8, 2003, and
the Senate is expected to introduce its own version in the near future.
A presentation will be give by the WIB staff at the facilitated meeting
on May 27, 2003.
WIB
Social:
Will be held on June 24th at General Tanuki’s
in Easton. A letter with all information has been mailed out.
Please return to Glorya by June 10th.
Workforce
Innovations Conference:
Conference
will be held in Washington, D.C. July 8-10, 2003. Please let Glorya know as soon as possible if you plan on
attending.
Motion was made by Hoyt Heinmuller and Keith LeCates to
adjourn meeting at 6:00 p.m. for a closed Executive Session.
Motion carried by all.
The next meeting will
be held on August 26, 2003 in room EDC-27 at Chesapeake College.
